Spring Showcase Concert!
Don't miss our final performance of the year! The concert takes place Wednesday, May 23rd in the FHS Auditorium at 7pm. This year's show features a variety of popular, jazz and Broadway songs. You will hear the full chorus sing as well as many talented soloists. Admission is free!
A schedule of student rehearsal times is posted in the chorus room and will be emailed this week.
Congratulations to Jula Decosse who was selected for the 2012 All-Virginia Chorus!
Congratulations to our A Cappella Singers and our Select Ladies Ensemble who both received superior ratings and first place finishes in our Atlanta competition! All the hard work has paid off.
Here is what you need to know for the 4th Quarter:
- All students should turn in their choir uniforms at this time.
- Auditions for next year's choral ensembles are now underway. They will take place during class over the next few weeks.
- Send your 2011-12 choir pics to fhschoir2012@gmail.com if you'd like them to appear in the end-of-year slide show.
- Following the Spring Showcase Concert, we will begin the process of electing new officers for the 2012-13 school year.
It is registration time again. All current students will register for Intermediate Chorus. After placement auditions in March and April, you will be placed in the appropriate ensemble.

The choir council picnic will take place on June 6th from 2:30-6:00pm at Van Dycke Park.
